In anticipation of next weekend’s camping trip, today we aired out the family tent. It’s a Ridgeway by Kelty, and I only tell you this because it’s a 10-person tent that is easier to put up than our 2-person pup tent, even in a steady wind, like there is today.

So my recent discovery that my old skateboard offers great exercise led me to the local skateshop for some ol’ Bones Reds. I came out with the generic wheels/bearings combo pictured. It worked out cheaper, but it does hurt a bit to replace my vintage Spitfire wheels with them. Oh well–who knows how long this [...]
