Just over a year ago, this was a field. Now it’s a veritable shrine to commerce and over indulgence — over-priced boutiques, food, and booze, all within walking (stumbling?) distance of the insanely priced condos one floor up. Still, it’s got a nice, fat Barnes & Noble, and that’s why I’m here.

So today we were supposed to go to the carnival. Instead, I’m nursing a sore throat and fever. Hopefully we’ll go tomorrow — in the meantime: Crafts!
We had another fire tonight (this time with chocolate bars, not chips), but I’m really just posting this to see if my auto-tweet script works.
Tonight we decided to celebrate the return of a true northern Ohio summer by lighting a fire to keep warm. While we were at it, we tried to make s’mores, using chocolate chips instead of chocolate bars. That didn’t work out so well, but at least we were outdoors.
