We always hit the Coffee Cup in Nelsonville on the way out of Athens, Ohio, and it never disappoints.

Thanks to Monopoly Junior, my kids understand the finer points of demanding rent even when the renter is flat broke. I have learned again what it feels like to be flat broke.

The girl took about one hour over three days to learn to ride her bike. I lost about 30 pounds in sweat chasing her. And now, they say, she’ll never forget.

Well, the directions to the grave in West Branch State Park in Ohio were not bad. We took the asphalt trail to the left, where Porter Road takes a sharp right, and we found the first trail on the right, but we did not find the stones marking the grave just into the woods about 200 yards down the trail. All we found was this possible marker. It was a great hiking and biking area, though!
