The boy is eating cake and Dad just got 3 Xbox games for 30 bones. Not a bad day. And these birthday parties at the Brunswick Zone are well worth the half hour drive through wind and rain. Mein Gott! I’m having fun just standing here. Disco lights! 80s music! The whiff of pizza and the clang of bowling pins! Hell, I’m having *my* next birthday here!

I didn’t see any obvious wifi during my visit, except at the airport hotel (which is to be expected). The Hampton Inn wifi is only notable for its seemingly hurried installation. I especially like the 500-feet-too-long coil of well-used ethernet cable. I suppose that’s so I can sit on the bed with my laptop plugged in — sort of defeating the purpose of wifi. Still, it’s there.

If I ever get an olde tyme truck, I’m totally painting it like that. No, really. Totally. No… Anyway, South Park is on the hotel cable, and I don’t have cable at home.

I didn’t get the chance to send this before, but that’s the World of Coca-Cola museum. If you’re a fan of Coke or Americana or both, it’s well worth the $15 admission. If you’re not, then never mind. One word of advice: don’t try the Beverly. Truly the worst taste I’ve ever… well, tasted.

That Atlanta sun is hot, even a 9 a.m. I exaggerate, of course. It’s hot because of these windows.

So this is the Akron Canton airport. Sure is quiet. And I could have got a Dortmunder on tap, but I already ate.
